Reason: My 16-year-old son got arrested for physical violence.
(If you think you may not need an attorney, wrong, you do because their knowledge and relationships will make all the difference in the outcome and your overall sanity.)
Now I'll tell you why you absolutely want to go with this firm. I am very hard to please. (For example, I hired/fired 4 real estate agents when buying my home.) From the start they did all the right things:
1. It seemed most attorneys charged a flat fee for this type of thing and they weren't the cheapest, however they are allowing me to make payments. ---Sold!
2. EVERY time I call the phone is answered by one of the attorneys. I'm never placed on hold or have to leave a message.
3. All the attorneys, James, Veronica, and Holden had knowledge of my case so you are actually hiring a team and their shared expertise.
4. They have showed up for everything on time and informed.
5. From our first conversation I felt heard and cared about and even before receiving payment which would verify I hired them, Veronica made calls to find my son and found out what would be happening that first night.
6. End result... Holden had already been negotiating prior to our first meeting with Wilco and got us the best best best case scenario. He is also having the case sealed when it's over, which I thought would be a separate process.
Really it's a no brainer, hire Winters & Chidester if you have the need. I'm sure there must be other great attorneys, but I already know these guys great.
