She worked in the Texas Attorney General’s Office in the Law Enforcement Defense Division, where she tried federal cases in various jurisdictions statewide. She went on to work at the Travis County Attorney’s Office and the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, where she became a chief misdemeanor and family violence prosecutor. She later worked in the criminal trial court division with felony cases.
